MLPD – Member of ICOR! The nuclear catastrophe was completely foreseeable On 11 March 2011 at 2.46 p.m., Japan witnessed the worst earthquake in its history. The epicenter of the earthquake was near the coast and caused a tsunami tidal wave. A few minutes later, it hit the Japanese coast up to 10 meters high. While in Europe (6.46 a.m. Central European Time) many people are still sleeping, more than 27,000 people in Japan lose their lives. 400,000 persons become homeless, under partly catastrophic conditions. Its course clearly differs compared with other world economic crises after World War II. What is the reason for that? We already made the forecast at the end of 2008 that regarding extent, intensity and effect we will be concerned with the deepest world economic and financial crisis experienced by capitalism until now. At first it seemed to turn out differently. A unique joint international imperialist crisis management succeeded in preventing an uncontrolled collapse of the world financial system and slowing down the slump of the world economy.
