2011 December: International active resistance for the Immediate Shutdown of All Nuclear Power Plants
On 11 March 2011 at 2.46 p.m., Japan witnessed the worst earthquake in its history. The epicenter of the earthquake was near the coast and caused a tsunami tidal wave. A few minutes later, it hit the Japanese coast up to 10 meters high. While in Europe (6.46 a.m. Central European Time) many people are still sleeping, more than 27,000 people in Japan
lose their lives. 400,000 persons become homeless, under partly catastrophic conditions.
A few hours later, news about damages at the Japanese nuclear power plants is spreading rapidly over the newslines. Damages to the supposedly safest nuclear power plants in the world? While billions of people are still rubbing their eyes in astonishment, things are developing rapidly.
